* RP-C1542 DC-9-31 [48115] ex N935VJ, departed MHV on delivery to Cebu Pacific on 01Mar-2003, routing eastward across the Atlantic. N935VJ arrived at MHV for storage on 25Jan-2001, ferried MHV-MZJ 24Jun-2002 for overhaul, returned MZJ-MHV on 26Nov-2002 for repaint and final delivery mods.
* N635AW A320 [092] was noted on 04Mar-2003 as a fuselage hulk, sitting next to a low-loader. Still present on 07Mar-2003.
* N302FV B727-230(F) [21442] was noted air-testing at Tucson 03Mar and 06Mar. I received a report of a Northern Air Cargo 727 on the ramp at Tucson, without additional info. Piecing the story together, I think the NAC 727 is N302FV, and is being air-tested prior to delivery. Highly unconfirmed at this point!
* N35084 DC-10 [46991] ex-Hawaiian, was noted at Goodyear 03Mar-2003 being scrapped. Registration was cancelled on 20Feb-2003 (Thanks to S. Cook).
* N222DZ B737-35B [23971] Delta, ferried GYR-ATL 17Feb-2003 and returned to service (Thanks to S. Cook).
* N1868M BD700 Global Express [9069] was photographed arriving at PHX on 02Mar-2003. Aircraft was registered on 18Feb-2003. The photo is posted here:

* N757AF B757-200 [25155] was noted at PHX 05Mar-2003 at the Cutter ramp. It was here for the NBA Portland Trailblazers, and departed late 06Mar-2003 after the game.

Cactus Wings Aircraft Report
28Feb-2003
Hi all - I'm introducing a new format for reporting the week in
stored/derelict aircraft. Hopefully this new delivery method will allow a
wider range of news to be reported, not just the weekly movements - although
those will follow at the bottom. Enjoy, and please credit Terry Nash/Cactus
Wings if used.

Cactus Wings Live in So Cal, February 2003

One, possibly two more ex-AA 727s have arrived since Friday. They are all
parked in a row easily visible and photographable from an access road leading
south from the main "terminal". The ex-Southern 747 is parked near the
northerly large hangar, but is photographable at a front 1/4 angle, again from
the same access road.
After San Bernandino, we fought the I-10 traffic and eventually made it LAX in
one piece. Since everyone in the vehicle is a photographer, we skipped the
central terminal area and went straight to the Proud Bird parking lot. Of
course, while stuck in traffic on I-10, Cathay's B-HOX "Hong Kong Millenium"
special c/s landed before we could get set up for photography.
Not everything was written down, primarily what was photographed...

Come see us on 01Feb at the So Cal Aviation Expo
Friends,
We would like to invite you to stop by our table at the SoCal Aviaton Expo
at the Hacienda Hotel / LAX on Saturday, 01Feb. We will be featuring
Air-Britain hardbound aviation books, info on Air-Britain club services &
membership ... in addition to slides by Barry Hickman, Jeremy Irish, Terry
Nash, Troy Prybyski, and Bob Shane. Prints, a few 1:400 diecast models, and
a PHX video (late 80s/early 90s) will also be available.
We are arriving Friday evening, and staying through until Sunday, at the
Hacienda. We'll have lots of slides to sell & trade before & after the
show, and we're always willing to get together for a good slide show (we'll
be bringing a screen & projector). If you'd like to meet up, you can reach
us at the hotel (name under Terry Nash) ... or better still, come by and see us at the show!
