I've been on vacation for 10 days, so this report is a little behind. Catching up:
  • US Presidential candidate John Kerry visited PHX on 29Jun-2004, arriving on his TransMeridian B757 N958PG [24118]. After he departed, the aircraft was repainted and added the titles for his running mate, John Edwards. Photo:

  • Frontier A319 N932FR [2258] was delivered to the airline at Phoenix on 29Jun-2004. A319 N933FR [2260] was delivered to the airline at Phoenix on 07Jul-2004.
  • Southwest B737-700 N469WN [33859] was delivered to the airline at Phoenix on 29Jun-2004. Another B737-700 delivery happened on 14Jul-2004, not sure if this was N470WN [33860] or N471WN [32471].
  • Ex-USAirways B737-200 N235US [22275], previously stored at Tucson, was painted for and delivered to Ryan International on 29Jun-2004.
  • Ex-Air Canada B747-400 N895NC (previously C-FCRA) [24895], previously stored at Marana, ferried MZJ-SAT on 01Jul-2004.
  • Ex-AMC MD-90 N743BC (previously SU-BMR) [53552], previously at Marana, was painted for and delivered to Hello Airlines, Switzerland, on 05Jul-2004. It has since been re-registered HB-JIA.
  • DC-10-40 N852V [47852], previously at Marana, was at Phoenix on 13Jul-2004, wearing Global Air Tanker Services titles. It departed later to RAF Fairford, UK.
  • America West B737-200 N188AW [22655] was retired from the fleet and ferried PHX-GYR on 12Jul-2004.

* Ford Motor Co F-70 N324K [11545] was in Phoenix this week shuttling back and forth to Kingman, which is near their desert test track. It was parked at Cutter Aviation during its stay.

* Boeing 757 N226G [25491] was at Williams-Gateway on 21/22Jun-2004. It is all white with large 'COMCO' titles on the tail.

* Frontier A319 N931FR [2253] arrived at Phoenix on 23Jun-2004 on delivery. Photo posted in the Cactus Wings News section.

* Ex-America West B737-200 N183AW [22650], currently stored at Tucson, will be overhauled by Hamilton Aerospace prior to delivery to an unknown customer.

* Ex-Continental DC-10-30 N13088 [46850], currently stored at Mojave, will be scrapped.

* Ex-Lufthansa Cargo B747-230F D-ABZF [23621], previously stored at Marana, departed 15Jun-2004 on delivery to Air Atlanta Cargo.

* History was made at Mojave, CA on 21Jun-2004. Scaled Composites successfully flew SpaceShipOne (N328KF) past the international boundary of space. Over 100,000 people attended the event at Mojave this morning. A photo of SpaceShipOne gliding to a landing is pictured below.

26471 C9-BAF LAM Mozambique, delivered May20-2004 Maputo - Lisbon amd May22-2004 Lisbon-Mexico City as LAMP009 by LAM crew to Aeromexico.
Their is a slight change to the colorscheme for America West Airlines aircraft, the flag "stars and Stripes" that was on the nose of most of the aircraft. It is now moved on several aircraft next to the registration/tail number.

The next Boeing 737-700W # 8 XA-HAM will be delivered to LAS Jun29 and stay until Jul01-2004 when it will be flown to mexico City by Aeromexico crew.

Boeing 767 XA-OAM will be flown mexico City-La Aurora Jun29, will stay there a day or two for paper work h/o to save taxes and then return to Mexico City.
