Tucson, AZ (TUS)
Movements:
N924LG, DC-9 arrived from DAL today
DHC 12, GLEX arrived from YYZ today .... was N700AP

News:
- Apparently D-AERP, L-1011 is being restored to airworthy status, it is supposedly going to depart Tucson next week on delivery to an "African" operator.
- XU 600, L-1011 is going to be scrapped here.

Tucson, AZ (TUS)

Noted over the weekend ... (* - indicates photo posted)

New + noteworthy:
XU-122* L-1011 all white, no titles. Air Atlanta logo on the tail
visibly painted out, as was the previous registration ... TF-ABD or TF-ABU?
Three sets of eyes couldn't tell (actually we thought it was TF-ABO but
that's not a TriStar reg.)... Aircraft arrived on 03Feb, and departed the
same day.
XU-600* L-1011 Orient Thai c/s with Kampuchea titles. Arrived 04Feb.
(G-OBMF) B734 a/w, no marks worn. Parked on Hamilton's ramp.
N1731D* L-1011 Delta. Arrived 01Feb in full c/s & titles. Engines removed same day, and by 04Feb titles and tail logo were painted out. Story we have so far is that the aircraft is here for an engine change, and then to be delivered to an operator in Thailand.
N922LG* DC-9 Legend full c/s, stored
N745DH* B727 DHL full c/s & titles
N923LG DC-9 Legend full c/s, stored
9M-TGA* B727 Transmile. Actually wears www.Transmile.com titles.
XA-TCX* B727 a/w, except for an "A" logo on the tail. Reminded me of
Aeromar, but couldn't tell for sure?!

- N69736, Kitty Hawk B727 definitely gone.
- N10791, ex-Continental B727 now completely broken up.
