Phoenix (PHX) 12.26.02

Not having many World DC-10s in my logbook, I ventured out this afternoon to check this bird out. It turned out to be N352WL, in the standard World color scheme of black titles on the fuselage and the black logo on the tail. It was parked just east of the police station, near the large tent. Considering it flew in from CMH, I assumed it brought the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. Several police officers were present on Sky Harbor Blvd directing & stopping traffic for exiting "VIP" vehicles. FBOweb stated it had a departure time of 1710 to JFK, although at 1705, when I left the airport, it was still parked with its doors open and several ground servicing vehicles around it.
